I'm headed to India!!

As most of you know, this summer I was given the opportunity to “study abroad.”  Through an internship program in the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, I was chosen as one of six students to travel to India where MSU partners with the Chennai (Madras) Veterinary School for a 6-week experience.  During this time, I'll be working with the other US students, 2 US professors (one originally from India), the Indian students, and the Indian professors to complete 3 or more research projects for the USDA.  The program is mostly funded by the USDA, which is really the only reason I could afford to go!  

So I've decided to create a blog about my travels and experiences.  I am in NO way, shape, or form a computer or technological whiz, so it may be very basic and I might appear not to know what I'm doing...that's because I don't!  But I'll try my best and try to get online frequently to update with stories and pictures!  Enjoy!
